Every Sunday morning, a group of adults, youth, and children gather in the sanctuary of our church and there re-create a community. Drawn from diverse traditions, more than a score of towns in southern New Hampshire, and the separateness of their daily lives, these people turn to each other to draw strength and to share it.
It is a community created on trust, care and a recognition of both the frailty and the strength of humanity. We minister to each other, even as we debate a social justice or religious issue. We have grown to appreciate our many differences, while being lifted by the care we give one another.
We have members and friends totalling 250 warm, delightful, and devoted people. Well balanced through all the age groups, we feel we are a group that knows and cares for each other, while at the same time welcomes newcomers.
We are a voice for social justice in the Souhegan Valley, concerned about and participating in regional, national and international programs.
Our Mission, an integral part of our Long Range Plan is:
"Our spiritual community welcomes all people and honors the human dignity of each individual. Grounded in our Unitarian Universalist principles, we enrich one another and challenge ourselves to heal and strengthen all lives and to care for our shared earth"
