Adult Programs
Our frequent and varied adult education programs offer a challenging and supportive context for exploring religious, spiritual, social justice, and personal growth issues.
Recent offerings:
- Buddhism
- Menu for the Future
- Painting the Word: Exploring Religious Art
- Poetry Group
- Sacred Ceremony: Bridging and Connecting
- The Parables and Sayings of Yeshua
Planned for the 2010-11church year.
- Fall - “Who (or what) is your God?—or not”. This will be an open exchange of ideas with no holds barred. We are thinking of a 3 or 4-week series after church on Sundays with a light meal of soup provided.
- Winter - “Issues of Aging”, to include such topics as retirement, dying, and death.
- Spring - series based around the myths of Genesis, with a cross-cultural look as well as the Hebrew scripture.
- Green Living will be covered by a series of short discussions and workshops, lasting from two hours to one day. These will be spread throughout the year.
