Our Minister

UUCM's minister, Rev. Barbara McKusick Liscord, nurtures the rich spiritual engagement we enjoy at UUCM.  In addition to leading worship, she personally ministers to members, particularly in times of emergencies and crises.  Recognizing that a key dimension of spiritual growth involves serving others, Rev. Barbara also supports varied opportunities for shared ministry among fellow members and friends as well as to the wider world.

Rev. Barbara devotes her energies to ensuring that the culture and environment of our congregation fosters a sense that each of us has the wisdom to nurture our own spiritual deepening and has gifts for ministry to offer our community and the world at large.  She works with us to ensure that we collectively explore and implement a varied array of programs and shared-ministry opportunities that appeal to our interests and grow our gifts.  Many find that they grow in ways at UUCM that they have not found possible at home, work or other community settings.

Rev. Barbara invites all members and friends of the UUCM community -- adult, youth, and children -- to find ways to deepen their evolving relationships with one another and with the sacred.
