Pastoral Care Network
The Pastoral Care Network bridges the gap between caring people and those in our church community who are in need of help during difficult times.
We provide basic support services to lessen the burden on an individual or family who is dealing with a difficult circumstance. Services we provide are:
- Help with Memorial Service
- Cook a meal
- Provide Baby or child care
- Make a hospital or home visit
- Shop or run errands
- Provide a ride
- Call to be a friend
- Perform yard work, home maintenance, or help move
- Take homebound person out
- Provide respite care to caregiver
- Share a holiday
- Provide pet sitting during hospital stay
- Offer overnight accommodations
UUCM members and friends sign up to provide these services, and are contacted by a member of the Pastoral Care Committee when a need arises.
