Every month, from September through June, we and other UU congregations focus on a specific theme.
These are our ‘regular services‘
During the summer, we hold services that follow a different format and schedule.
The Schedule for 2025 UUCM Summer Services
During the summer, UUCM Sunday services will be both familiar and a little different. They will offer opportunities for connection and spiritual renewal, be varied in format or ways to participate, and they will, as always, welcome newcomers.
The Weekly Update will provide the time (usually 9:30am) and location or format for each week.

Or topics that you are not curious about? | Fireside |
July 20 | Candy Shirey | The Spirituality of Summer Simplicity In a world that often praises busy-ness, summer invites us to slow down. Aug 24 | Michael Conley | Michael Conley will lead a discussion on topics brought up in the book “A Secret History of Christianity: Jesus, the Last Inkling and the Evolution of Consciousness” by Mark Vernon. Regular Services
Below are descriptions of our upcoming regular services. If you see none, that simply means that the descriptions are not yet available.

There’s No Place Like Home (In Person and Online)
Nancy Baker and Lynn Coakley
This service lets you remember and look forward to what home is at UUCM. It’s a new church year that brings with it both our past and our hopes for the future. As Dorothy learned in the Wizard of Oz, you have to understand that home is more than a place before you can return to it with new energy and possibility.

Water Communion (In Person and Online)
The Worship Team
This is our traditional in-gathering service where you bring water from your travels, your home tap, or your imagination to join others in a ceremony of commitment to a new year together. We will affirm that we are one “body of water”, a beloved community brought together by our love for one another and our hopes for a healing and productive year working together.
After church: Please stay to be included in our annual congregational photo!

Parts of a Whole (In Person and Online)
The Worship Team
Every congregation has its parts, and today we celebrate the working parts of our church as different committees speak about their work and their hopes for the year. As we listen to each group speak to its purpose and needs, think about what you’d like to be involved in. Connection and growth are supported by the basics of congregational activity. It’s not work. It’s how you feel needed and wanted in our community – doing work that sustains us in our building and in our larger community.
At 11:45: Join us for Coffee with the Board in the Fireside Room.

Let’s Talk (In Person and Online)
UUCM Board
In this outdoor service we’ll talk and connect. The Board will lead the congregation in small and larger conversations that allow everyone to speak to where they are and how they feel as we head into the church year. We’ll learn about the search for a new minister, the role of the UUA in our current process, and how we rebuild our sense of self as a church community. Bring your worries and your ideas. There will be a potluck lunch and some music along with honest conversation that will help our Board guide us through this coming year. The service will be livestreamed for those on Zoom.
After church: Our first potluck luncheon!
