Mending the Sacred Circle

People the world over believe in the sacred circle of life. They try to live with nature — not from nature. They try to honor its rhythms and spaces. This service tells the stories of some of these people who are indigenous to North America, from a deep bond with their sacred homelands to a struggle to keep their place in the world true to the teachings of their culture. We’ll look at how their traditions have fared in the face of the aggression and oppression of invading outsiders.
