The Memory of Trees (Online Summer Service)
Nancy Baker & the Worship Team
Please note that this service starts at 9:30am, earlier than our normal services.
In the natural world trees are our roots and wings. They not only provide shade and offer shelter, but they anchor the way we relate to the rest of the world. They have personalities. No two are exactly alike once they begin to grow. Many of us have fond memories of trees in our yards or love the folklore that tells us of wise trees or protective trees or trees who are active characters in stories and poems. This service will explore our relationship with trees and why we love their dependable beauty and diversity.
