“Walking Through the Valley” (Online)

The gorgeous poetry of the 23rd Psalm captures vivid images that hold special meaning for this strange season.  The traditional translation refers to walking ‘through the valley of the shadow of death.’  Bobby McFerrin sings of walking ‘through a dark and dreary land.’  These images capture our present reality, but more importantly the Psalm goes on to offer deep comfort and to affirm hope.  Join us as we use some of these poetic images to reflect on how we are sustaining hope this springtime.  We expect a visit from a a very special little bear in this service, an old friend of this congregation.
